Cruises from Philadelphia depart in the fall.
Philadelphia means "the city of brotherly love" in Greek, and its diverse population has been fulfilling this motto since this Pennsylvania city was founded by the Dutch centuries ago. The sixth largest city in the U.S., Philadelphia was once the home to the ideas and events that began the American Revolution, and served as the nation's first capital in the 1790's. There are numerous historical sites, museums, and galleries. Don't forget to try its signature food: the Philly cheesesteak.
